Shekhar Bajaj is the Chairman and Managing Director of Bajaj Electricals Ltd started his career with Bajaj Sevashram after which he worked at Bajaj International, the group's export company.  Shekhar Bajaj joined Bajaj Electricals in 1980, became the Managing Director in 1987 and took over as the Chairman and Managing Director in 1994.

Harsha Bhogle, Renowned Commentator

Harsha Bhogle has a long association with ESPN STAR Sports. Since 1994, Harsha has been the face of cricket on ESPN and STAR Sports, and, of course, STAR Cricket. A presenter and internationally renowned commentator for cricket, Harsha currently fronts & commentates on all STAR Cricket & ESPN's Live Cricket output and hosts the widely acclaimed Harsha UnPlugged. In the past, Harsha has hosted numerous ESPN magazine shows such as Inside Edge, Cricket Up-Close, Dream Job in addition to the original cricket quiz show, Stumped.

Having graduated with a distinction in chemical engineering from Osmania University in 1983, the Hyderabad born Harsha followed that with two years at IIM Ahmedabad. He also obtained an advanced diploma in French (with distinction) in 1979. He joined Rediffusion Advertising in 1985 as an advertising executive and worked there for two and a half years before working with Professional Management Group for an equal period.

As a journalist and presenter, Bhogle has been invited to work with all the major global broadcast networks. Indeed, leading Australian newspaper, The Melbourne Age said his presence helped boost the ratings of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's cricket coverage. In today's multi-media environment, Bhogle is the only Indian sports personality to be accepted internationally across all media; whether it be TV, newspaper or magazine journalism, radio reporting and commentary, or broadcasting for the Internet and mobile platforms. Sanjeev Chadha, Chairman & CEO of PepsiCo’s India Region

Sanjeev Chadha is the Chairman & CEO of PepsiCo’s India Region, and is responsible for their beverage and snack businesses in India and neighboring countries. Under his leadership, PepsiCo India has risen to become the No.1 Food & Beverage company in India, and a leading model of PepsiCo’s philosophy of Performance with Purpose. In 2009, the business achieved “Positive Water Balance”, by replenishing more water than they consumed: a global first for PepsiCo. He was a founding member of the PepsiCo business in India in 1989, and has since played an important role in developing PepsiCo businesses in India & across several Asian countries.

Chadha spent 12 years in Asia based out of Hong Kong during which he was PepsiCo’s leader for different markets and functions, before returning to India in 2007. He started his career with Brooke Bond, now a part of Unilever, and was with JWT prior to joining PepsiCo. Chadha has been the Rural Development Chair for CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) over the past two years, and is currently the Chairman of CII’s National Committee on Water.

Amit Chandra, Managing Director,Bain Capital

Amit Chandra is the Managing Director of Bain Capital Advisor, a global private equity- an alternative investments firm. Prior to Bain Capital, Chandra was associated with DSP Merrill Lynch, India's leading investment bank. At DSP Merrill Lynch, he was responsible for leading the firm's investment banking, equities, fixed income, and investing activities. He personally led a number of the landmark transactions in the industry for today’s leading corporate such as ICICI Bank, AV Birla Group, Tata Group, and Reliance Industries.

Chandra was also a partner, since inception, of NSR Private Equity, a $1.3 billion PE fund that focused on the sub-continent. Prior to his MBA, Amit worked for over two years at India’s leading engineering & construction firm, Larsen & Toubro. Chandra was named as a ‘Young Global Leader’ by the World Economic Forum in 2007 and amongst ‘India's Leading CEOs’ under the age of 40 by Business Today in 2005. As a person Chandra is passionate about social causes and is a long serving Trustee of ‘The Akanksha Foundation’ (providing education to less privileged children), and a Board Member of ‘GiveIndia’ (India's leading philanthropic exchange).

R Gopalakrishnan, Executive Director, Tata Sons

R Gopalakrishnan worked for his first 31 years in India’s most Indian multinational, Hindustan Unilever. Since then, he has worked for India’s most multinational Indian company — Tata. Currently, he is the executive director of Tata Sons. He is also the chairman of Tata AutoComp Systems, Rallis India and Advinus Therapeutics, vice chairman of Tata Chemicals, and a director of Tata Power and Tata Technologies. He also serves as an independent director on the boards of the Indian subsidiaries of Akzo Nobel and BP Castrol. He joined Tata Sons in September 1998 as executive director.

Gopalakrishnan is involved with education through his board memberships of a school and two management institutes. He is a past president of All India Management Association. He has delivered guest talks in India and abroad. His articles have been published in management journals and financial newspapers.

Chanda Kochhar joined ICICI as a Management trainee after her Masters in the year 1984. After 9 years of hard work, Kocchar was appointed as part of core team to set the ICICI bank. She got promotion in 1994 & 1996 as Assistant General Manager and then Deputy General Manager respectively. Vijay Mahajan, Chairman, BASIX

Vijay Mahajan is an Indian social entrepreneur and chairman of BASIX, a group he founded in 1996. Today, BASIX supports the livelihoods of over a million rural poor households, of which a third have been supported directly with micro-credit worth over Rs 1000 crore, in addition to savings and insurance services, agricultural/business development services and institutional development services.

Mahajan started working in the rural development field in Bihar, the poorest state of eastern India. In 1983, he established an NGO, PRADAN which works with over 120,000 poor households, promoting livelihoods and community institutions. Afterwhich, he set up BASIX as a “new generation livelihood promotion institution”.

Mahajan is also a member of the Raghuram Rajan Committee on Financial Sector Reforms, chaired by Prof and also of the Rangarajan Committee on Financial Inclusion. He is a member of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) and the Rajasthan Mission on Livelihoods. He serves on the Boards of ASSEFA, Gram Vikas, ARAVALI, DSC and the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA),.In 2002, Vijay was selected as one of the 60 “Outstanding Social Entrepreneurs” at the World Economic Forum (WEF), Davos. In 2003, Vijay was conferred the Distinguished Alumnus Award by the IIT, Delhi.

N R Narayana Murthy, Non-Executive Chairman and Chief Mentor, Infosys Technologies Limited

N R Narayana Murthy is the Non- Executive Chairman of the Board and Chief Mentor of Infosys Technologies Limited. He founded Infosys in 1981 along with six other software professionals and served as the CEO of Infosys for 21 years till March 2002. Under his leadership, Infosys was listed on NASDAQ in 1999.

Murthy articulated, designed and implemented the Global Delivery Model which has become the foundation for the huge success in IT services outsourcing from India. He has led key corporate governance initiatives in India. He is an IT advisor to several Asian countries. Murthy serves as an independent director on the boards of several global companies including Unilever, NV, Unilever, plc and HSBC Holdings plc. He is the Chairman of the Asia Business Council.

He is also a member of the advisory boards and councils of several educational institutions including Wharton, Cornell, INSEAD, Stanford, Tokyo University, SMU - Singapore, IIIT Bangalore and ESSEC, Paris. Murthy is the recipient of numerous awards and honours. The Economist ranked him 8th in the list of the 15 most-admired global leaders in 2005. Sanjay Nayar joined Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR) in 2009. Prior to joining KKR, he spent 24 years at Citigroup, as the CEO of Citi’s Indian and South Asian operations and as a member of Citigroup’s Asia Executive Operating Committee and Global Senior Leadership Committee.

Rajendra Pawar, Managing Director , NIIT Technologies Ltd

Rajendra Singh Pawar, B.Tech. is co-founder of NIIT Technologies Ltd. and has been its Managing Director since July 25, 2007. Pawar is co-founder of NIIT Ltd. and serves as its Managing Director. Varun Sahni is associated with Acumen Fund a non-profit global venture fund. Uday Shankar, Chief Executive Officer,STAR India

Uday Shankar is the Chief Executive Officer of STAR India, a wholly owned subsidiary of News Corporation and the number one media company in India. During this transition, Biocon has established two subsidiaries: Syngene (1994) to provide development support services for discovery research and Clinigene (2000) to cater to services in clinical development.

Shaw chairs Karnataka's Vision Group on Biotechnology and also served on the Board of Science Foundation, Ireland. She presently serves on the Advisory Council of the Government’s Department of Biotechnology where she has been instrumental in bringing government, industry and academia together, to chart a clear and progressive growth path for Biotechnology in India. Most recently, she has been invited to join the Prime Minister’s Council on Trade & Industry in India and the US-India CEO Forum.

Shaw is the recipient of several prestigious awards including the ET Businesswoman of the Year, Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Life Sciences & Healthcare, Technology Pioneer, etc. Her most cherished awards are the national awards, PADMA SHRI (1989) and PADMA BHUSHAN (2005) presented to her by the President of India, for her pioneering efforts in Industrial Biotechnology.

Shaw received her graduate honours degree in Zoology from Bangalore University (1973) and qualified as a Master Brewer from Ballarat University, Australia (1975). Shaw also received an honorary Doctorate of Science in 2004, from her alma mater, Ballarat University, in recognition of her pre-eminent contributions to the field of Biotechnology. Sinha spent 12 years with McKinsey and Company, the international management consulting firm, where he was a partner. He led McKinsey India’s telecom, IT, and media practices as well as its Organisation Practice, where he focused on issues of transformation and leadership. He has assisted several blue-chip Indian companies and MNCs overcome the organisational and leadership challenges of building a world-class operation in India. He was also instrumental in advising central and state governments on policy issues related to economic development and technology. Before founding 9.9 Media last year, Sinha was the MD & CEO of the ABP Group, one of India’s leading and most diversified media conglomerates with leading properties in the newspaper, magazine, and TV genres.

Sinha took a year off from McKinsey to be the Founding Dean of the Indian School of Business (ISB), an initiative led by McKinsey and a group of leading Indian business leaders, in partnership with Kellogg and Wharton, to establish a world-class business school in India. Pramath received M.S.E. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering and applied mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.Tech in metallurgical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.

His expertise lies in developing corporate and business unit strategies, leading large-scale growth transformation programs, creating market entry strategies, and driving merger integration. He has also co-founded Bain’s Enterprise Software (1996), Media & Entertainment (1998), and Pharmaceutical practices (2001).
